Kerala Assembly polls 2026: UDF confident of electoral victory, says V.D. Satheesan

Leader of the Opposition V.D. Satheesan on Friday (April 10, 2026) expressed confidence that the United Democratic Front (UDF) will secure more than 100 seats in the Kerala Assembly elections, claiming his projection is based on factual analysis and ground-level political assessment.

Addressing a press conference in Aluva, Mr. Satheesan said the state witnessed one of the highest voter turnouts in India. The polling percentage could have increased further if expatriate voters and students studying abroad had been able to participate.
