Union Minister for Coal & Mines G. Kishan Reddy has stated that contrary to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s charges against the Modi Government, the Congress government is sustaining its day-to-day administration solely based on funds, financial aid, welfare schemes, and loans provided by the Central Government.

Talking to the media at the State BJP office on Sunday, he said that the Congress Government has totally failed to implement the poll promises, and hence the “frustration and despondency” are clearly visible on the face of the Chief Minister. The farming community has been taken for a ride with neither fine-variety nor coarse-variety paddy growers receiving the ₹500 bonus. The ₹15,000 in financial assistance and ₹12,000 to agricultural labourers have been forgotten, he claimed.

Mr. Kishan Reddy said that he does not need a certificate from Mr. Revanth Reddy for the services rendered to Telangana as a Union Minister and cautioned that stooping to a personal level in political discourse is detrimental to democracy. “The people of Telangana are observing the comments he makes about me, and the public is well aware of the projects, funds, and development initiatives I secured,” he said.
