‘Knights in Khaki’ event in Hubballi tomorrow

The Round Table India and Ladies Circle India of Hubballi will be organising a special tribute programme titled ‘Knights in Khaki’ in Hubballi on February 13.

Addressing reporters here on Thursday, the event convenor Arjun Mahajan said that the aim of the event, which will be held for the first time, was to honour police personnel who work relentlessly, embody service, integrity and commitment.

In all, 26 police personnel will be honoured during the event. Hubballi-Dharwad City Police Commissioner N. Shashi Kumar, Deputy Commissioners of Police Raveesh C.R. and Mahaninga Nandagavi and District Superintendent of Police Gunjan Arya will be the guests. The event will be held at the Chalukya Hall, Fortune Hotel, Hubballi, at 6.30 p.m.

Chairman LMF T.R. Vishwas Jeevannava, secretary of LMF TR Vijay Matti and others were present.
