Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy will lay the foundation stone for a ₹338-crore package of four-lane road projects in the city falling in Rangareddy district on Tuesday under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM).
The projects, being taken up, will cover key stretches in the Ibrahimpatnam, Medchal and Maheshwaram Assembly constituencies. Road works include widening and upgrading the Hayathnagar–Thorrur–Koheda–Anajpur road, the Anajpur–Abdullapurmet–Bandaraviryal stretch, the Hayathnagar–Kuntloor–Pasumamula–Taramatipet road, the Sagar Road–Injapur–Thorrur–Brahmanpally–Ragannaguda corridor, and the Sagar Road–Injapur–Hayathnagar stretch.
The modern four-lane roads will provide safer and faster transportation, reduce traffic bottlenecks and improve connectivity between urban and rural areas. Officials said the ₹338 crore investment is expected to serve as a major catalyst for the future growth of the LB Nagar and Ibrahimpatnam region.
