The third project is for the development of a wayside amenities centre in 30 cents of land. The KMB envisions transforming this site into a revenue generating asset that serves both public interest and urban development goals. The bidders could set up either of the three options, the first being retail shops, restaurants, food courts, commercial offices or co-working spaces with a minimum development area of 300 sqm. The second option is an amusement park that can accommodate at least 1,000 users per day and the third is a fueling station with at least four fuel dispensers and two electric vehicle charging stations. The bidders have the right to use any remaining land for further constructions, following the above mentioned controls.
In all the three projects, the bidders can design, build and operate the project for 30 years from the date of award of concession, while the period is extendable subject to the approval of the state government. The pre-bid date is September 17, 2025 for the first two projects while it is September 18 for the third one. The due date is October 3, 10 and 6 respectively.
