HYDERABAD
Working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) K.T. Rama Rao, has criticised the BJP-led government at the Centre for regular NEET question paper leak in the recent years and termed it height of Centre’s inefficiency.
In a statement, Mr. Rama Rao said on Tuesday that the Centre was playing with the lives of lakhs of students who put two years of hard work into preparing for the entrance test for admission into medical colleges. It was due to the NDA government’s failure that the question paper was leaked, proving that the government was incapable of holding even an entrance exam.
He observed that the NDA government had failed to learn from the question paper leakage in 2024, and it had led to the recurrence of the leakage. It was unfortunate that more than 100 questions were leaked a day before the entrance exam. The Centre’s inability to conduct the exam without any problem had put about 23 lakh students and their parents in distress.
Mr. Rama Rao demanded that the Centre own up the responsibility for NEET question paper leakage and tender an apology to the students and their parents.
