Kunal walks out of legislators’ orientation programme

Kolkata: Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA from Beleghata Kunal Ghosh walked out of an orientation programme for newly elected legislators of the state midway on Friday. He alleged that the ruling party was being broken by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Bengal assembly Speaker Rathindra Bose, adding that he was not willing to take training from them.Ghosh initially attended the event and collected the delegate card designated for MLAs before leaving the session shortly after. “Attending the event as an MLA was my responsibility, but the walkout was a personal decision,” he said.
