Describing Kuppam as “not just a constituency but an emotion,” Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced an ambitious industrial and development agenda on Friday (July 3, 2026), reiterating his commitment to transform his home constituency into a national model under the ‘Swarna Kuppam Vision-2029.’

As part of his three-day visit to Kuppam, the Chief Minister took part in the inauguration of multiple industrial projects at Pogurupalle in Gudupalle mandal.

Addressing a public meeting, Mr. Naidu stated that the coalition government would pursue welfare, development, and good governance simultaneously while ensuring employment for every youth, higher incomes for farmers, and entrepreneurship opportunities for every family. He said that the avowed initiative of “One Family-One Entrepreneur” from Kuppam had started giving overwhelming results across the State.

The Chief Minister highlighted that investments worth ₹9,322 crore across 27 industries would generate nearly 39,000 direct jobs in the Kuppam constituency. He said that the ₹200-crore ABIS Proteins chicken processing unit would strengthen allied sectors and create massive employment. The MSME Park at Pogurupalle, developed over 44 acres, would encourage small industries and startups.

Mr. Naidu stated, “Andhra Pradesh will now be known not only for Ease of Doing Business but also for Speed of Doing Business.” He further outlined plans for roads, rail connectivity, aviation infrastructure, industrial townships, renewable energy, waste management, rooftop solar installations, green cover expansion, and net-zero pollution under the ‘Swarna Kuppam Vision-2029’.

He also proposed linking industries with higher education institutions, enabling employees to pursue higher studies while working.

Chittoor Collector Sumit Kumar said 20 industries had reached the implementation stage during the past two years. “Investments of about ₹3,872 crore are expected to create employment for 23,169 people directly and indirectly in the region. The industrial push would generate large-scale local employment and reduce migration while accelerating Kuppam’s emergence as a major industrial hub,” he said.
