Labourer dies in landslide

Hubballi: A labourer died after a landslide occurred during the construction of a drainage system to connect the rajakaluve near Gujarat Bhavan in the city. According to sources in the police department, the deceased was identified as a resident of Hallikeri village in Annigeri taluk, and details are awaited.

The incident occurred while workers were digging to lay pipelines connecting the rajakaluve, when the soil soaked due to rain, suddenly collapsed, leading to the labourer’s death. Suburban police were yet to register the complaint.
