Lenovo launches new ThinkPad X9 15P Aura Edition for professionals

New Delhi: Lenovo has officially released its latest laptop globally, featuring the Intel Panther Lake platform. Lenovo has introduced the ThinkPad X9 15P Aura Edition globally. Currently, the ThinkPad X9 15P Aura Edition can only be configured with the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H.

Intel Core Ultra 5 338H, Intel Core Ultra X7 368H, and Intel Core Ultra X9 388H, which are powered variants, will eventually be available. A 16-core processor from Intel’s Panther Lake, the Intel Core Ultera X7 358H is the slowest of any Core Ultra X processor that Intel has unveiled to date.

The processor also features an Arc B390 iGPU and its 12 Xe3 GPU cores, which have fared well so far during testing. Lenovo complements this processor with LPDDR5X 9600 RAM and an 88Wh battery, and features a 15.3-inch OLED display. Both are 2.8K panels; only one supports touch inputs.

According to the company, it pairs cover 100% of the DCI-P3 color space while also delivering a 30-120Hz variable refresh rate and 500 nits of peak brightness in SDR mode that rises to 1,100 nits in HDR mode.

Lenovo sells the ThinkPad X9 15P Aura Edition in a single configuration across North America. It is priced at $2,899 (roughly Rs 2,78,047) in the US, with configuration features including 32GB of RAM, 1 TB of onboard storage, and a touchscreen display.
