Rahul Gandhi on Thursday asserted that he would continue to fight for farmers' rights, even if an FIR is lodged against him, a case is filed, or a Privilege motion is brought.

“FIR ho, mukadma darj ho ya Privilege prastaav laayein — main kisano ke liye ladunga,” Gandhi said, making it clear that he would not back down under pressure.

He also warned against any trade deal that, in his view, harms farmers’ livelihoods or weakens the country’s food security. “Jo bhi trade deal kisano ki rozi-roti chheene ya desh ki khadya suraksha ko kamzor kare, woh kisan-virodhi hai,” he said.
