Cockroach Janta Party Protest Live Updates: Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), is expected to arrive in India from the US today (Saturday) to lead a peaceful protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over examination-related lapses, including the alleged NEET-UG paper leak. His outfit, which started as a satirical campaign following Chief Justice of India Surya Kant's "cockroaches" remarks, has supposedly gained massive traction on social media. However, whether it can translate that online support into an organised campaign remains to be seen. A day ahead of the proposed protest, a Delhi Police official told news agency PTI that the force had not received any request from the CJP seeking permission for the gathering.
