An unusual disciplinary action at a Lucknow school has sparked debate after several students were suspended for repeatedly eating chow mein during a farewell party, turning a routine school event into a widely discussed controversy.

What Happened At The Farewell Party?

The incident took place at St Mary’s School in the Chinhat area of Lucknow during the Class 10 farewell function. According to school sources, some Class 9 students visited the food counter three to four times to take chow mein, which reportedly led to disorder at the counter.

Principal’s Immediate Action

After learning about the situation, the school principal took swift disciplinary action. A voice note was shared in the official class group, informing that the concerned students were suspended for two days.

The principal added that further instructions regarding their return would be communicated later.

Allegations By Students And Parents

The following day, when the suspended students arrived at school as usual, they alleged that the principal chased them away with a stick. The students returned home and informed their families, leading to protests from parents over the suspension.

However, the parents declined to give any official statement on the matter.

School Administration Responds

As the issue gained attention, the school administration reconsidered the decision and allowed the students to rejoin classes. The school clarified that such an incident had not occurred in the past 25 years.
