Is there one gameday where Luka Doncic doesn’t script history, at this point?

The Lakers superstar delivered another jaw-dropping masterclass on Monday night, torching the Chicago Bulls to power Los Angeles to a 129–118 win at the United Center.

Doncic finished with a monstrous 46 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists, snapping Chicago’s four-game winning streak and reminding everyone — again — that he is an offensive force without comparison.

At just 26, Luka also etched his name deeper into Lakers lore.

By reaching 2,000 points in just 65 games, he became the fastest player in franchise history to hit the mark.

Across the entire NBA, only Wilt Chamberlain and Walt Bellamy have ever done it quicker for any team.

And the milestones didn’t stop there.

According to StatMuse, Doncic joined Elgin Baylor as the only Lakers players to record multiple games of 45+ points and 10+ assists. He also became just the second Laker ever — alongside the late Kobe Bryant — to post 45+ points, 10+ assists and 5+ three-pointers in a single game.

“We talked about how we want to approach the game better," Luka said, after the game. “We’re staying together. Everybody’s having fun out there."

It shows. This was Luka’s fourth straight game with 30+ points, and once the Bulls threatened a comeback in the third quarter, he slammed the door shut.

LeBron James chipped in with 24 points — 20 coming before halftime — while Rui Hachimura added 23 off the bench to keep Chicago at bay.

The win moves the Lakers to 28–17, holding firm in fifth place in the Western Conference. Reinforcements are on the way, too, with Austin Reaves nearing a return from a month-long calf injury.
