Make sure medicines, vaccines are available: CM

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday (April 23, 2026) conducted a surprise inspection of the Delhi government-run Aruna Asaf Ali Hospital and directed to make sure that enough medicines and vaccines are available. 

“Several patients complained about the unavailability of medicines, forcing them to purchase drugs from outside. The Chief Minister immediately ordered a check of stock registers and announced a zero-tolerance policy on shortages of medicines and vaccines,” the CMO said in a statement.
