Man killed as bike rams parked truck in Angamaly

Kochi: A 34-year-old man was killed in a road accident in Angamaly.The deceased was identified as Sarath C R of Cholakkal, Arattupuzha, Thrissur. According to police, he met with a road accident near Telk, Angamaly, around 11.15pm on Monday.

Sarath was rushed to a private hospital in Angamaly and succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at 2.56am on Tuesday.Police sources said primary investigation suggested the man was heading towards Eloor from Thrissur when his bike crashed into the rear end of a truck parked along the road.Angamaly police registered an FIR and began collecting evidence. Police said they recovered CCTV footage indicating that the bike rammed the truck. The body was handed over to the kin after an autopsy.
