'Maragadha Naanayam 2' shoot begins with grand ritual; Karthi flags off Aadhi’s fantasy sequel

The much-awaited sequel 'Maragadha Naanayam 2' has officially gone on floors with a traditional pooja ceremony in Chennai. The film marks the return of the fantasy-comedy world that won hearts in 2017.

Directed once again by A. R. K. Saravan, the sequel brings back Aadhi and Nikki Galrani in the lead, along with Priya Bhavani Shankar and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles. The team shared pictures from the launch, creating instant excitement among fans who have been waiting to revisit the magical adventure.

Karthi flags off the shoot and wishes the team

Actor Karthi graced the pooja as the chief guest and formally kick-started the film's shooting. Karthi's presence added star value to the launch and boosted the team’s energy.

Director Venkat Prabhu was also present to extend his wishes. Following the ceremony, the makers confirmed that regular shooting will begin in full swing from February 20 in and around Chennai. The film is planned as a grand entertainer and is expected to hit screens by the end of this year.
