Mariah Carey makes another surprise appearance on her son Moroccan's live stream: 'Chat, this is my mom'

Mariah Carey walked into her son's live stream on March 13, and things got chaotic pretty quickly. Moroccan was six hours into a stream, playing games and talking with viewers, when his 56-year-old mom and twin sister, Monroe Cannon, showed up in his bedroom.

The comments section lost it the moment she appeared.Moroccan spotted his mom and immediately said, "Chat, my mom's here," then asked her, "Mom, mom, do you want to say hi?" Mariah did not need to be asked twice. Off camera, she said, "Of course I want to say hi." Moroccan tried warning her that he was streaming in front of all these people, but she just came back with, "Yes, should I be concerned?" Son replied, "No, you can just duck out after you say hi.

Chat, this is my mom."The 'Butterfly' singer then stepped into view around the 24:44 mark of the stream. "Hi. Listen, I want them to know that I love them," she told the viewers, who were flooding the comments with hellos and excitement. Moroccan's reaction was instant. Carey quietly slipped out of frame and out of the bedroom as her son called after her, "I love you, Momma.

A very different energy from last time

According to People, Mariah had done the same thing back in April 2025 when Moroccan was still 13. That time, he completely lost it. "Mom, they can see you. They're saying, 'Hi Mariah, I love you!' Oh my God." The clip went everywhere, and people found the whole thing hilarious. This time around, it was a lot warmer, even if the teenage embarrassment never fully went away. The 'One Sweet Day' singer said her bit and left when her son asked her to, and Moroccan got straight back to streaming.

Who is Moroccan Cannon?

Moroccan Cannon, nicknamed Rocky, is the 14-year-old son of Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon. He has a twin sister, Monroe, who also popped up during the stream.
