Marta Kostyuk is once again drawing attention at Wimbledon, but this time it is not only because of her tennis. The Ukrainian player has stepped onto the courts in a new bridal-inspired outfit that has quickly become one of the talking points of the tournament.

After her first wedding-themed dress went viral in 2024, Kostyuk returned with an updated version called the “Marta Dress 2.0”. Fans have praised the elegant look, while the player continues to build momentum with strong results on grass.

Marta Kostyuk brings back her bridal-inspired Wimbledon look

Kostyuk’s latest Wimbledon outfit is a new take on the wedding-inspired design she first introduced two years ago. Back in 2024, she wore a court-ready version of her 2023 wedding dress, created with her sponsor Wilson.

That outfit featured a sheer white layer over a sleeveless dress and attracted plenty of attention from tennis fans. For Wimbledon 2026, the 24-year-old worked with Wilson again on a refreshed design. The new outfit uses a lace-style pattern that resembles a bridal veil while still being built for competition. According to Wilson, the dress includes a two-piece setup made up of a bra, vest and skirt system. The company said the lace details add elegance without affecting performance on court.

Speaking after the launch of the outfit, Kostyuk said having a dress named after her felt surreal. She added that working closely with the Wilson design team allowed her to help create clothing that looks beautiful while still meeting the demands of professional tennis. The outfit was released as a limited-edition item and carried a £150 price tag. Despite the cost, it quickly sold out in many places. The popularity is not surprising considering the original Marta dress has already earned a place in the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum at the All England Club.

Marta Kostyuk’s Wimbledon form matches the attention around her outfit

The conversation around the dress has come at a good time for Kostyuk, who has also been producing strong performances on the court. The world No. 13 arrived at Wimbledon after one of the best stretches of her career. Earlier this season, she won the Madrid Open title and reached the semi-finals of the French Open. She has carried that confidence onto grass, beating Nadia Podoroska in the first round and Anna Blinkova in the second. After her opening-round victory over Podoroska, Kostyuk shared a photo of herself spinning on the court to show the movement of the skirt. Alongside the image, she wrote: “First dance complete.”The post quickly attracted attention from fans. Many focused on the flowing design of the outfit, with some comparing it to both a wedding dress and a ballerina’s costume. Wilson also joined the conversation, responding with tennis ball and ballet shoe emojis.Several supporters left enthusiastic comments beneath the post. One fan called it the “best outfit in tour”, while another described it as “the dress of my dreams”.Fashion has been a noticeable theme at Wimbledon this year. Naomi Osaka arrived with an outfit inspired by traditional Japanese ceremonial clothing, while Taylor Fritz and Novak Djokovic both chose looks influenced by Roger Federer’s famous blazer style from 2006.For now, however, Kostyuk’s bridal-inspired design remains one of the most discussed outfits at the Championships. The Ukrainian star will next face American player Emma Navarro in the third round on Saturday as she looks to continue her impressive Wimbledon run.
