The post-mortem report of 23-year-old Sahil Dhaneshra, who died in a road crash in Delhi’s Dwarka, has detailed extensive internal injuries, confirming that he suffered fatal cranio-cerebral trauma and was declared a case of “spot death".
According to the post-mortem findings, Sahil sustained severe cranio-cerebral injury — damage to the brain caused by an external force — consistent with a high-impact collision. The report records a massive subdural haematoma, which refers to the accumulation of blood between the brain and its outermost covering, typically resulting from a head-on impact. Doctors also noted generalised brain trauma, indicating major injury to the head.
The autopsy further revealed injuries to vital organs, including the spleen and liver. There was an accumulation of blood in the pleural cavity, the space between the lungs and chest wall, a condition often caused by traumatic chest injury.
Multiple rib fractures were observed, pointing to the force of impact. The report also mentions the presence of blood in the oesophagus and pharynx, highlighting the severity of internal trauma.

Medical experts recorded the cause of death as haemorrhagic shock due to cranio-cerebral injury, along with multi-organ damage. The term “spot death" in the report indicates that Sahil succumbed to his injuries immediately at the site of the accident.
Sahil’s mother, Inna Makan, reiterated her demand for strict action against the minor allegedly driving the SUV involved in the crash. She described the incident as “criminal activity" and said her son lost his life due to reckless behaviour. Speaking about the events leading up to the accident, she alleged that the SUV driver was making “fun reels" and driving at high speed in the opposite lane before colliding with her son’s motorcycle.
She further claimed that there was no attempt to slow down even after the initial impact. According to her, the vehicle hit Sahil’s bike, then rammed into a taxi and a bus. “This is not just an accident. My son died due to their fun reel," she said, adding that people with influence believe they can evade consequences.
Calling for accountability, she said no one is safe on the roads if such behaviour goes unchecked. She also questioned why previous speeding challans against the accused did not prevent him from driving. The accused minor was later apprehended and produced before the Juvenile Justice Board, which granted him interim bail, citing ongoing board examinations. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
