Medak businessman dies as car overturns at Kulcharam

A 50-year-old businessman from Medak died in a road accident at Kulcharam on Medak-Hyderabad road in the early hours of Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Vanaparthi Rohit Gupta. According to police, he was returning to Medak from Vijayawada when he lost control of the vehicle.

The car veered off the road and overturned, resulting in his death on the spot. A passenger travelling with him escaped with injuries and is currently undergoing treatment.

Upon receiving the information, the Kulcharam police reached the spot. The body was shifted to the Government Hospital in Medak for postmortem examination.

A case has been registered and further investigation is under way.
