The Duchess of Sussex keeps celebrations family-focused, not flashy

Meghan Markle was recently spotted at a Montecito toy store, selecting Easter gifts for her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, along with godchildren. The Duchess of Sussex prioritizes family time and creating cherished memories over extravagance during holidays, as evidenced by her personal touches and shared family moments, emphasizing the joy of togetherness.

Meghan Markle’s Netflix documentary was rightfully titled. Because the Duchess of Sussex does everything with love. Just days ahead of Easter, she was spotted doing what millions of parents around the world do at this time—browsing the aisles of her local toy store for little surprises she can tuck into her children’s baskets.

No entourage. No personal shoppers. Just a mama on a mission.Meghan Markle absolutely loves the holiday season. For her, celebrations are not about grandeur or extravagance. It’s about spending quality time with her family. Creating memories they will cherish forever. And this Easter is no different.

Meghan Markle went Easter shopping on April 1. The Duchess of Sussex was spotted at a toy store in Montecito. She picked something special for her children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.

She was “picking up Easter gifts for her kids and her godchildren,” according to People. “She was there for a while, talking to the staff and making selections,” a source said. She purchased Magic Rabbit playing cards and Magic Castle Sea Monkeys for her kids.

She was seen leaving the store with two large paper bags. Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s Easter baskets are getting ready. This holiday weekend is indeed going to be special for the family.

Celebrations are about intent, not grandeur

She may live in one of the most exclusive ZIP codes in California, but when it comes to festivities, she likes to keep things down-to-earth. Meghan Markle loves to add a personal touch to everything she embarks on, and festivities are no different. Earlier this week, the Duchess of Sussex shared a video of Prince Archie learning to ski with his father, Prince Harry. In the video, the child is seen following Prince Harry down a snowy mountain.

“My boys. Quick learner, Archie! So proud ,” the proud mom captioned as she shared the video on Instagram.

The heartwarming and unfiltered video says everything about their festivities. The couple enjoys celebrations rooted in togetherness, joy, and the very ordinary magic of watching your kids discover something new. Holidays are indeed a sacred time for the family.Last year, Meghan Markle shared a heartwarming Easter video. She spoke about how the holiday was “full of love and surprises.” She posted a video on Instagram showing her animatedly cheering as a mother duck and her ducklings ran across her driveway.

It looks like this Easter is also going to be about making priceless memories with her family. She has real Easter baskets filled with something no toy store can sell—a family holiday that belongs entirely to them.
