Roads and Buildings (R&B) Minister B.C. Janardhan Reddy on Tuesday asked Collector Rajakumari Ganiya to make available the required urea stocks in Nandyal district. The R&B Minister enquired about the availability of urea in the district with the Minister.
Mr. Janardhan Reddy asked the Collector to keep the urea stock available for the farmers to avoid any kind of inconvenience. On the occasion, he also assured the farmers not to panic as the government would supply the required urea. He suggested the farmers not to use excess urea for their crops and not to buy excess stocks out of panic.
The Minister said that the government would supply urea for every cropping season as per the requirement of the farmers, and asked the Collector to ensure there was no black marketing of urea.
