Ministers reviews venue of CM function

Karur: Rural development minister Bussy Anand and PWD minister Aadhav Arjuna inspected the venue of chief minister Vijay’s scheduled public meeting in Karur on Thursday.They were accompanied by M R Vijayabhaskar and C Vijayabaskar, both of whom recently resigned from AIADMK and joined the TVK.

Earlier in the day, DIG (Intelligence) G Dharmarajan also inspected the venue and reviewed security arrangements.

Elaborate security arrangements are in place with barricades erected on roads leading to the venue at Vennamalai. The CM will land in Trichy and proceed to Karur where he will address a gathering of about 5,000, around 12pm.Vijay will handover govt job appointment orders to 32 members of families of victims of the Karur stampede. He will also inaugurate a textile manufacturing unit.
