Mix of drugs, alcohol found in Indore tourist’s body

Panaji: The postmortem examination of the 21-year-old tourist from Indore, Ishan Singh Badgujar, revealed a cocktail of drugs and alcohol in his body.A govt source said that Badgujar reportedly consumed a fatal mix of ecstasy and MDMA in addition to alcohol.

Due to the deadly combination, he suffered cerebral pulmonary oedema and cardiac changes.

The drugs were also suspected to be adulterated.Badgujar died in Goa on Saturday after he and his friends visited a club at Vagator and at midnight, he started feeling uneasy. He was shifted to a private hospital at Anjuna. Nine friends had arrived in Goa on Thursday.
