'Drishyam 3' has finally arrived in theatres and the Mohanlal starrer has opened to a strong response at the box office. Along with the film’s collections and audience reactions, fresh reports about the cast salaries have now become a major talking point online.As reported by Reporter Live website, Mohanlal remains the highest-paid actor in the franchise. Reports suggest the superstar received nearly Rs 20 crore for the third installment of the thriller franchise.Reports also suggest that Mohanlal’s remuneration has steadily increased with every installment of the series. When the first Drishyam released in 2013, the actor reportedly earned around Rs 5 to 6 crore. By the release of Drishyam 2, the amount had reportedly increased to nearly Rs 10 to 12 crore.
Meena, Ansiba Hassan and Esther Anil’s reported salaries
Apart from Mohanlal, reports regarding the supporting cast's remuneration are also circulating online.Actress Meena, who plays Rani George, reportedly earned between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 25 lakh during the earlier installments of the franchise. However, reports now claim that her remuneration for Drishyam 3 has increased to around Rs 75 lakh. Ansiba Hassan, who reprises her role as Anju George, is reportedly said to have received nearly Rs 1 crore for the film.
Meanwhile, Esther Anil, who plays the younger daughter Anu, reportedly earned around Rs 25 lakh for the third installment.Reports further claim that veteran actor Siddique received approximately Rs 60 lakh for portraying Prabhakar once again in the franchise.

The thriller directed by Jeethu Joseph broke several box office records and later gained nationwide popularity through remakes in multiple languages.Now, 'Drishyam 3' has continued the franchise’s strong theatrical run. Film budget and massive day 1 collections
According to Republic World reports, the overall budget of 'Drishyam 3' is said to be around Rs 100 crore.The thriller has already started its theatrical journey on a strong note. According to Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 15.85 crore net in India on Day 1 across 5,506 shows.India gross collections reportedly touched Rs 18.37 crore on the opening day.The Malayalam version contributed the highest share to the collections. The film earned Rs 13.70 crore net in Malayalam alone.
