A little over a month before he was killed, Ketan Agarwal was grooving with his father and fiancée Siya Goyal’s parents to the iconic Bollywood song ‘Bas aaj ki raat hai Zindagi. Kal hum kahan tum kahan’ (Life is all that is tonight. Who knows where we will be tomorrow).

A video of Agarwal dancing at the event with his father Vishal Agarwal and Goyal’s parents –– Pooja Goyal and Praveen Goyal –– has surfaced online. The video was posted by singer Reetu Sharma on Instagram, who performed at the family function.

The video has come to light at a time when a probe into the alleged murder of Ketan Agarwal –– a 25-year-old realtor based in Pune –– continues. According to the police, he was pushed off a cliff at the Lohagad Fort in the city by his fiancée, Siya Goyal and her alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary.

In the clip, titled ‘Justice for Ketan’, he was seen dancing his heart out as his father, Vishal Agarwal, held a mic and sang ‘Yamma Yamma’ alongside singer Sharma. Seconds later, Agarwal was also seen dancing with Goyal’s father, Praveen Goyal, to Bollywood hit ‘Main nikla gaddi leke’, as relatives joined the family in celebrating the moment.

Sharing the video, Reetu Sharma wrote: “On 7th May, we did a program in their family. Where you all can see they are all happily enjoying the program. How happy both the families were. We saw Ketan from our own eyes. Such an innocent child. Who knew this will happen to this beautiful soul"?

Sharma demanded punishment for Siya Goyal –– who is the prime accused in the case –– as she reflected on the plight of the deceased’s parents.

“Siya should be punished for her deeds whatever she did to Ketan. Just because she did not liked him doesn’t mean she can take someone’s life. She did think about her parents that if she ran with her boyfriend society would blame her and her parents. But what about Ketan’s parents? She did not think what they will go through??"

The singer ended her message with a simple question: “Why saying NO is more difficult than taking someone’s life? We want justice for Ketan! She should be pushed from that fort where she pushed Ketan and killed him."

Ketan Agarwal’s Murder

On June 18, Ketan Agarwal was allegedly pushed off a cliff of the Lohagad Fort by his bride-to-be Siya Goyal and her alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary. She is currently in police custody alongside her alleged boyfriend and co-accused, after a Maharashtra court extended their custody until July 3.

Earlier in the day, Chaudhary was taken by the Pune Police to the Lohagad Fort to recreate the sequence of events. Investigators recreated the crime scene and conducted a gait analysis to examine his movements and compare them with evidence collected during the course of the investigation.

Siya and Ketan got engaged in February and were set to marry in November.
