Motorola Edge 70 Pro India debut on April 22: What to expect

New Delhi: Motorola has officially announced it will unveil the Motorola Edge 70 Pro device in India on April 22. A dedicated microsite has gone live on e-commerce platform Flipkart, revealing several key specs of the device. The upcoming Edge 70 Pro will be available in three Pantone-validated color options.

It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor and supported by a vapour chamber to keep thermals in check.

The device has a large 6,500mAh battery and supports 90W charging. It features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 5200 nits brightness, and a 144Hz refresh rate.

The display is paired with stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos support, and Hi-Res Audio. The Edge 70 Pro has three rear cameras, including a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide camera.

It is offered in Pantone Lily White, Pantone Tea, and Pantone Titan colors. The Pantone Tea version will have a satin finish, while the Pantone Titan and Pantone Lily White options will have fabric and marble finishes. The device has IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, plus military-grade certification and Gorilla Glass 7i.

It runs Android 16 out of the box, with Motorola promising 3 years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates.
