MP distributes aids, assistive devices in Mysuru

MP for Mysuru Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar on Monday distributed aids and assistive devices to the differently-abled beneficiaries at a camp in Mysuru on Monday.

A large number of beneficiaries received the benefits during the ‘Samajik Adhikarita Shivir’, organised for the Divyangjans under the Assistance to Persons with Disabilities for Purchase/Fitting of Aids /Appliances(ADIP) scheme.

Under the title ‘Empowering the Divyangjan through aids and assistive devices’, the differently-abled persons received the benefits from Mr. Yaduveer.

As many as 638 male beneficiaries and 138 female beneficiaries received the aids and devices, which include tricycles, motorised tricycles, wheel chairs, elbow crutches, axilla crutches, CP wheel chair, walking sticks, Braille cane, Braille kit, BTE hearing aids and others, a note said.
