MP visits site of fatal hostel roof collapse

Member of Parliament G. Kumar Naik visited the spot where three students were killed after a portion of a roof collapsed on them in Deodurga town in Raichur district.

Mr. Naik was informed about the incident and expressed his condolences to the families who lost their loved ones.

Three degree students who were staying at a government-run hostel were killed, and three others suffered injuries after the roof collapsed on them when they were putting up a poster of a short movie that was shot by them.

The MP instructed officials to take legal action against the building owners and said he would meet the Chief Minister to seek compensation for the bereaved families.
