Multiple electric two-wheelers gutted in fire at Kukatpally godown, no casualties reported

A fire broke out at a vehicle godown in Janatha Nagar of Kukatpally on Tuesday afternoon, destroying several electric two-wheelers belonging to PIQYU Company. Officials confirmed that no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.

According to the police, a distress call was received at around 3.40 p.m. alerting authorities about the blaze at the premises, which was being used for storing electric two-wheelers. The fire quickly spread within the facility, gutting multiple vehicles before emergency teams could contain it.

Four fire tenders were pressed into service and managed to bring the flames under control. Personnel from the police, electricity department and medical emergency services also rushed to the spot and coordinated response measures.

The exact cause of the fire and loss are yet to be ascertained, and further investigation is underway.
