The Mysuru Entrepreneurship Habba 2025, organised by the Young Indians (Yi) Mysuru Chapter of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), brought entrepreneurs, investors, innovators, and students on a common platform.
The event, which was organised at the SDM Institute for Management Development (SDM-IMD) on Friday, drew more than 150 participants. The sessions covered a range of issues relevant to startups, from personal brand building to accessing grants. There was also a panel discussion on the theme “Why Innovation Needs Both Guidance and Capital” with resource persons sharing their experience and views on the subject.
The food sector came under focus in a spotlight session by experts from CSIR-CFTRI, including Chethana, Anudeep S., Sayanika Deka, and Pavan Kumar, and it was followed by a conversation with Adukalé founder Bharat Koushik.
A women investor panel comprising Shreya Bhatnagar (Anthill Ventures), Antara Raychaudhury (Spring Marketing Capital), Poornima Nayak (Ventana VC), and Ayushi Garg (3one4 Capital) discussed emerging investment trends.
There was a session wherein participants shared insights on building ventures and the highlight was ‘’Bharath Pitchathon’’ 4.0 – Mysuru Edition, where startups presented their ideas to investors, seeking funding and mentorship.
CII Mysuru Zone chairman Nagaraj Gargeshwari, past chairman Sam Cherian, SDM-IMD director Dr. Lt. Col. Prasad S.N., and CII Mysuru Zone vice-chairman Utsav Agarwal, and Gagan Ranka and Priyanka Sridhar of Young Indians Mysuru chapter, were among those present.
