National Water Mission Director to tour Penuganchiprolu, Ibrahimpatnam mandals from June 17

The National Water Mission (NWM) Director and Central Nodal Officer, N. Ashok Babu, will tour Penuganchiprolu and Ibrahimpatnam mandals for three days, starting from June 17, as part of the Aspirational Block Programme (ABP).

In Penuganchiprolu mandal, the official will cover Penuganchiprolu, Gummadidurru, Lingagudem, Thotacherla, and Sanagapadu villages on June 17. The following day, he will visit Ibrahimpatnam mandal, covering Ibrahimpatnam, Kotikalapudi, Moolapadu, Jupudi, Kondapalli, and Guntupalli villages.

As part of the field visits, Mr. Ashok Babu will inspect Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, anganwadi centres, RISE Centre in Guntupalli, Waste-to-Wealth Centres (SWPCs), primary health centres (PHCs), Rythu Seva Kendras (RSKs), high schools, agricultural fields, horticulture crops, and works being carried out under the Jal Jeevan Mission, among other facilities.

According to a press release, the discussions will focus on progress in key social and economic indicators related to health, nutrition, education, agriculture, infrastructure, and other sectors.
