NCC Deputy Director-General lays stress on character building

Air Commodore Narsingh Sailani, the Deputy Director-General (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Directorate) visited the Tirupati group headquarters of National Cadet Corps (NCC) here on Wednesday. He was formally received by Tirupati Group Commander Colonel Satinder Dahiya, senior officers and a large gathering of cadets.

While appreciating the role of the officers, soldiers and staff in carrying out commendable work in training, administration and smooth conduct of NCC activities across Rayalaseema region, he asked them to get involved in more social and community related service initiatives.

In his address to the cadets, Air Commodore Sailani laid emphasis on the role of NCC in character building and inculcating leadership qualities. He advised the cadets to imbibe the core values of unity, integrity and service while striving for excellence in academics, physical fitness and extracurricular activities.

Air Commodore Sailani specifically lauded the cadets of Tirupati for their participation in national level camps, awareness campaigns and social welfare activities.
