NEET-UG paper leak: CBI carries out raids in Nagpur and Chandrapur, seizes key documents

NAGPUR: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday conducted searches at multiple key locations in Vidarbha in connection with the NEET-UG paper leak scandal, which has triggered widespread unrest in the country’s education system and led to the announcement of a re-examination.The raids included two sites in Nagpur and one in Chandrapur, Maharashtra. Substantial documents and materials were seized during the operations, providing important leads in the high-profile case.No arrests were made during the action. All seized documents have been forwarded to the CBI’s investigation office in Delhi for detailed forensic analysis and further investigation.The NEET paper leak has sparked massive protests by students and parents demanding strict action against those involved in the nexus that compromised the integrity of the prestigious medical entrance examination. The CBI is intensifying its efforts to uncover the full conspiracy network behind the leak.
