Netflix iPhone app set to add vertical video scrolling feature

New Delhi: Netflix might be going to provide the most-awaited and rumored vertical video feed on its iPhone application. Netflix has also announced an upgrade in its letter to its shareholders following its latest earnings cell.

This feed could start rolling out to users before the end of April, and it will let users scroll through clips and previews that can help with content discovery. Netflix has also highlighted an interface redesign for its application on iOS.

It also added that the latest interface will include vertical video feed, enabling users to scroll via clips and previews more dynamically. Netflix has also confirmed that the redesigned application, which includes vertical video features, will be available before the end of April.

Additionally, it continued to innovate on their latest TV UI, after the period of experimenting and iteration, they are introducing an upgraded mobile experience at the end of the month that will also include a vertical video discovery feed.

This shift also signals Netflix’s attempt to align with evolving the user habits, specially as the vertical scrolling formats have become highly popular across the platforms.

And by integrating this feature, Netflix also focuses on simplifying discovery and making browsing more interactive on mobile devices. Netflix has also extended its offering beyond traditional streaming.
