The NFL great had made a controversial remark against the WWE universe and its performers.

NFL legend Tom Brady’s remarks on the World Wrestling Entertainment and its powerful wrestlers could come back to haunt him. The NFL great has been challenged by the company’s superstars to step inside the ring and see for himself how “cute" it all is.

Brady hit a controversy recently after appearing on Logan Paul’s ‘IMPAULSIVE’ podcast. The quarterback angered not just the fans of the WWE universe online but also its wrestlers by calling it a “cute" sport.

WWE superstars have now fired back at Brady, aiming at his apparent ignorance of the company and its huge global fanbase.

“I don’t get annoyed. It just comes from a place of ignorance," said WWE Champion Drew McIntyre at the WWE 2K Creator Fest event, as he joined a list of WWE stars bemoaning Brady’s comments and challenging him to enter the ring once and figure out pro wrestling closely.

Paul Heyman added, “What’s Tom Brady done? He’s thrown a football across a field that was caught by Gronkowski. Gronkowski deserves the credit. Belichick and his girlfriend deserve the credit. But Tom Brady [gestures no]."

CM Punk, the reigning WWE Heavyweight Champion, reserved a sarcastic dig for the NFL fame and said: “What’s wrong with cute?. I’m cute, Tom." That is, before Tyle Breeze raised a challenge for Brady to step inside the ring, potentially against him.

“I would love to see Tom Brady step in and see what it actually is and see how cute he thinks it is. As you know, it is tough," he mentioned.

Obe Femi was also not pleased with Brady’s comments and pressed home the word from the WWE community. “Those who think it’s cute and it’s fluffy, and it’s all sweet and stuff, you can come and try. You can lace up some boots, and then let’s watch you puke," he said.

Logan Paul Challenges NFL Great

While comparisons of different sports are grossly unfair, since Brady started it, Logan Paul said he could be more athletic than the NFL legend. “If you put me and Tom Brady up athletically in most sports, I bet I’d be more athletic," he insisted.

“He used the word ‘cute’ about WWE. In many ways, football is also cute."

“When it comes to durability and primal competition, combat sports are the ultimate level. I’m a boxer. You can put most NFL players in a ring, and real fighters would beat them."
