Will Jake Anderson play against the Vancouver Canucks after exiting the match due to an upper-body injury?

Ottawa Senators’ Jake Anderson was officially listed as day-to-day with an upper-body injury after taking a hit against the Seattle Kraken. According to reports, Sanderson was hurt in the second period when he skated into the corner to retrieve a loose puck and was hit hard into the boards by Kraken defenceman Brandon Montour. The 23-year-old immediately went to the bench, holding his right shoulder, before heading down the tunnel, and was later ruled out for the rest of the game.

However, this incident did not affect Montour much, as he was not penalized on the play. Meanwhile, head coach Travis Green said that he did not have any update and stated the team will “know more tomorrow,” indicating that his status remains uncertain.

In this season, Sanderson has 11 goals and 37 assists for 48 points in 62 games while averaging 24:49 of ice time per game, the highest of his young NHL career.

Linus Ullmark also made 17 saves for the win. The Sens are currently preparing to be back in action on Monday evening in Vancouver against the Canucks, and Sanderson’s status for that game remains uncertain as the team awaits further evaluation.
