NLCIL signs MoA with IISC Bengaluru for project on innovation in mining

NLC India Ltd. (NLCIL) has entered into a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru for project on innovation in mining.

The MoA was signed by Neeraj Kumar, Chief General Manager and Unit Head, Centre for Advanced Research and Development (CARD) on behalf of NLCIL and Pikee Priya, Assistant Professor from the Materials Engineering Department, IISC, Bengaluru.

According to a press note, in line with its vision to foster impkactful R&D, NLCIL, through CARD has initiated structured coolborations with premier academic institutions, resulting in the signign of MoAs with IISC, IITs, NITs and State Universities.

The MoA with IISC, Bengaluru marks a significant milestone by addressing a critical mining requirement through indigenous material development.
