The Uttar Pradesh government has announced a major relief for electricity consumers by deciding not to increase electricity tariffs for the seventh consecutive year. The decision ensures that power rates across the state will remain unchanged, providing relief to millions of consumers.

The Yogi government has decided to retain the existing electricity tariff structure without any revision. As a result, domestic, commercial and other categories of electricity consumers in Uttar Pradesh will continue to pay power bills at the current rates.

The move means consumers will not face any additional financial burden due to an increase in electricity charges. By maintaining the existing tariff structure for the seventh straight year, the state government has continued its policy of keeping electricity rates stable despite annual tariff revision exercises.

The decision is expected to benefit a wide range of consumers across the state, including households, businesses and other electricity users. With tariffs remaining unchanged for another year, consumers will continue to receive electricity at the existing rates without any hike in power charges.
