US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor hailed Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s visit to India as “historic", asserting it reflects communication between “trusted partners" rather than an effort to repair relations.
Gor made the remarks in an interview with CNN-News18 ahead of Rubio’s scheduled meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Since I have been here for a long time, this is not a repair visit but a visit between trusted partners", he said.
