Alan Dershowitz said there's no "client list" linked to Jeffrey Epstein, confirmed by FBI and DOJ.

Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his jail cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan in August 2019.

Former legal counsel to Jeffrey Epstein, Alan Dershowitz, said that he believes the disgraced financier may have had help killing himself in federal custody although he was not murdered. In an op-ed published by The Wall Street Journal, Alan Dershowitz wrote, “It is clear from the evidence that Epstein committed suicide. What isn’t clear is whether he was assisted by jail personnel. That seems likely to me, based on the evidence of allegedly broken cameras, transfer of his cellmate and the absence of guards during relevant time periods."

Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his jail cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan in August 2019 where he was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. His death was officially ruled a suicide by hanging but it triggered a firestorm of speculation and conspiracy theories.

Jeffrey Epstein Had No ‘Client List’, Ex-Lawyer Says

Alan Dershowitz also addressed the long-standing speculation around Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged “client list"- reiterating a recent Justice Department statement that no such list exists. In a joint memo earlier this month, the FBI and DOJ confirmed that a full review of Jeffrey Epstein’s case files had concluded that there was “no incriminating ‘client list'".

Alan Dershowitz clarified that while Jeffrey Epstein did not create such a list, several accusers named alleged “clients" in FBI interviews. He wrote, “I know who they are. They don’t include any current officeholders. We don’t know whether the accusations are true. The courts have also sealed negative information about some of the accusers to protect them."

The only person convicted in relation to Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking operation remains Ghislaine Maxwell, his former associate and partner. Now 63, Ghislaine Maxwell is serving a 20-year sentence in a federal prison in Tallahassee, Florida and is currently appealing her conviction.
