Erling Haaland celebrated Norway’s historic FIFA World Cup victory with a fun change of style after leading his team into the Round of 16. The Manchester City striker scored the winning goal in Norway’s 2-1 knockout victory over Ivory Coast at Dallas Stadium on June 30.
It was Norway’s first-ever win in the knockout stage of the FIFA World Cup.After the match, Haaland swapped his football boots for cowboy fashion while enjoying his time in Texas. The Norwegian star shared photos on social media wearing classic Western clothing, giving fans another memorable moment away from the football pitch before Norway’s next big challenge.

Haaland appeared to enjoy every bit of his visit to Texas after helping Norway create history.
On social media, he posted pictures of himself trying out a cowboy-inspired look. He wore a gray cowboy hat, matching cowboy boots, a gray T-shirt, and sweat shorts. The shirt featured a playful slogan inspired by the city of Dallas, adding a humorous touch to his outfit.
The striker looked relaxed as he smiled while sitting on a staircase in one picture. In another, he stood confidently while looking down at the funny message printed on his shirt.
Along with the photos, Haaland greeted fans with a short message that welcomed everyone in classic cowboy style, making it clear he was enjoying the local culture.Manchester City official handle posted Haaland's latest style with caption "Cowboy Erling". Norway took the lead against Ivory Coast in the 36th minute through Antonio Nusa.With extra time looking possible, Haaland produced another decisive moment. In the 86th minute, he broke past the Ivory Coast defence and calmly scored the winning goal. The strike secured a famous 2-1 victory and sent Norway into the Round of 16 for the first time in FIFA World Cup history.The goal also took Haaland’s tally to five in the tournament. Norway will now face Brazil in the Round of 16 on Sunday, July 5, at New York New Jersey Stadium in East Rutherford.
