NEET-UG 2026 Re-Examination to be held in Riyadh on June 21, NTA issues guidelines
NEET-UG 2026 Re-Examination 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NEET-UG 2026 Re-Examination in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on June 21, providing Indian students residing in the Kingdom an opportunity to appear for the crucial medical entrance examination without travelling to India.
The announcement was made by the Embassy of India in Riyadh through an official press release issued on June 18.According to the Embassy, the examination will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode at the International Indian School Riyadh (IISR), Boys Section, located in the Rawdah district of the Saudi capital. The move is expected to benefit Indian expatriate students preparing for admission to undergraduate medical courses in India.Examination Schedule and Centre DetailsThe NEET-UG 2026 Re-Examination will be held on Sunday, June 21, from 11:30 am to 2:45 pm Saudi Arabian time. Candidates will be allowed to enter the examination centre between 8:30 am and 11:00 am. Authorities have advised students to report before 10:30 am to complete mandatory procedures such as document verification and security checks.• Date: 21 June 2026 (Sunday)• Time: 11:30 am to 02:45 pm (Saudi Time)• Entry time: 8.30 am to 11:00 am (Saudi Time)• Centre in Riyadh: International Indian School Riyadh (IISR), Boys Section The examination centre will close its gates at 11:00 am sharp, and no candidate arriving after the stipulated time will be permitted to enter.
The Embassy has urged all examinees to carefully follow the guidelines issued by the NTA to avoid any inconvenience on the day of the examination.Mandatory Documents for CandidatesStudents appearing for the re-examination must carry their original admit card, passport-size photographs and a valid original photo identity proof issued by the Government of India. Candidates are also required to affix one passport-size photograph on the admit card and carry another for attendance verification.
A postcard-size colour photograph must also be attached as per NTA instructions.School authorities have reiterated that only candidates will be allowed inside the examination centre premises. Students have been advised to note their allotted hall and row numbers from the seating plan displayed within the campus.Strict Security Measures and Prohibited ItemsThe NTA and examination centre authorities have announced stringent security arrangements, including frisking and checks using hand-held metal detectors.
Candidates have been requested to cooperate fully with officials during the screening process.Several items have been prohibited inside the examination hall, including mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, stationery materials, wallets, handbags, electronic devices and metallic objects. Candidates have also been instructed not to wear high heels or fancy footwear. Authorities warned that possession of any prohibited item could lead to disqualification from the examination.The Embassy of India and the International Indian School Riyadh have urged all candidates to adhere strictly to the prescribed guidelines to ensure the smooth conduct of the NEET-UG 2026 Re-Examination.
