NTHA shines in hockey: Naval Tata Hockey Academy secures silver at Junior Nehru Tournament; Cadet Patras Hassa earns Best Defender honors

Jamshedpur: The Naval Tata Hockey Academy (NTHA) won a silver medal at the 53rd Kanwarji Construction Junior Nehru Hockey Tournament.Cadet Patras Hassa was awarded the prestigious “Best Defender of the Tournament” title for his outstanding defensive play and leadership.Hassa’s agility, composure under pressure and game-changing tackles were crucial in keeping the team’s defensive line strong throughout the competition. The team remained unbeaten until the final, where they narrowly lost 3-1.“We are extremely proud of our team for their remarkable performance at the 53rd Kanwarji Construction Junior Nehru Hockey tournament. This achievement comes after the U-15 gold medal at the sub-junior Nehru tournament,” said Gurmeet Singh Rao, project director of NTHA.
