Oliver Rowland enjoys family time in Melbourne amid Middle East tension, praises Arvid Lindblad’s F1 debut

Amid rising tension in the Middle East, Oliver Rowland flew to Melbourne with his wife and two children for a safe stay and to fulfill his promise to Arvid Lindblad to support him as he made his F1 debut.

Lindblad is Rowland’s protege who trained under him at his former karting agency. He made his Formula One debut with Racing Bulls and claimed his first points after finishing eighth at the Australian Grand Prix. Rowland has now shared a post from his Melbourne visit and wished him well for the next F1 race in China. Meanwhile, his wife Lauren Rowland has shared a glimpse of their Melbourne adventure.

Oliver Rowland couldn’t have wished for a better F1 debut for Arvid Lindblad

Oliver Rowland took to Instagram to share a bunch of pictures from his Melbourne trip.

He was by Arvid Lindblad’s side in the paddock and will be cheering him on in the upcoming F1 races as well, barring a few.Sharing the photo dump from the Albert Park Circuit, Rowland wrote: “Couldn’t have wished for a better F1 debut for @arvid.lindblad. P8 & 4 points on the board. Massive congrats and huge job by @visacashapprb! Go get it in Shanghai.”

Arvid Lindblad finished eighth at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne on Sunday and gathered four points in his debut F1 race itself.

Reacting to the post, a fan wrote to Rowland: “Glad you made it.” Another said, “This is so wholesome awh.” One more commented: “This is my favourite motorsport friendship.” Another comment read: “Awesome team even if it’s full of Yorkshiremen.”Lindblad had joined Oliver Rowland’s kart training agency at the age of nine and went on to become the youngest race winner in Formula 2 history while racing for Campos Racing as part of the Red Bull Junior Team.

Oliver Rowland had left his Dubai home last week for a road trip in the desert along with his wife and two kids, as Dubai witnessed multiple explosions. The family accompanied Rowland to Melbourne and his wife Lauren Rowland has now shared happy snaps of their time in the city. “Saying yes to adventures with daddy,” she captioned the post.They visited the Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium and had some innocent fun at the circuit as well.

Some pictures show his four-year-old daughter Harper playing with her three-month-old brother Hennie at the circuit, while another picture shows the Nissan driver playfully holding his baby boy in his arms.In Formula E, Rowland is doing well as the reigning title winner. He has secured three podiums already in five races, though he is yet to claim a victory. He will next head to the maiden Madrid E-Prix for Round 6.
