One found murdered at Gajanur near Shivamogga

A person was found murdered near the fair price shop in Gajanur, near Shivamogga, on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Srinivas, 36, a resident of Hosamane Extension in Shivamogga.

The police suspect that he was murdered by two of his associates who were with him on Thursday night. Srinivas, a construction worker, had dinner with two of his friends. Allegedly, following a heated argument among them, the two men murdered Srinivas.

B. Nikhil, Shivamogga SP, told the media that the preliminary investigation by his staff suggested the involvement of two people in the murder. The Tunga Nagar Police have begun the investigation after registering a case. He stated that the accused would be arrested soon.
