In yet another revelation regarding the attack on its airbases, Pakistan has confirmed significant areas in the country were hit during India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ targeting terror infrastructures there.
Pakistani Deputy PM Ishaq Dar, during a telecast on a local channel, confirmed that India struck the Nur Khan and Shorkot airbases during the retaliatory strikes.
Further, Dar also could be heard claiming that Saudi Prince Faisal bin Salman offered him to inform External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar that Pakistan was “ready to stop", implying that Pakistan pleaded for support from Saudi Arabia and the United States.
This comes days after Pakistan, on June 4, admitted it suffered more damage than it had earlier acknowledged, during India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ on the intervening night of May 6 and 7.
At least eight more of Pakistan’s locations were struck and damaged in the Indian strikes, a confidential Pakistani dossier on its internal military Operation ‘Bunyan un Marsoos’ had revealed.
Meanwhile, taking a dig at the Shehbaz Sharif-led country, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s IT cell chief Amit Malviya wrote on X, “So now it’s official: Pakistan admits it was hit."
“Pakistan admits it ran to both the US and Saudi Arabia, begging India to halt. Pakistan inadvertently admits that Trump wasn’t the only one lobbying India — even Riyadh was roped in," Malviya wrote.
“From Balakot to Sindoor, Pakistan’s denials continue to collapse under truth bombs. A national security embarrassment for them, a strategic validation for India," he added.
