Pankaj calls on Lohias under outreach drive

Lucknow: BJP Uttar Pradesh president and Union minister for state for finance Pankaj Chaudhary on Sunday visited the residence of eminent socialist thinker Dr Ram Manohar Lohia as part of a public outreach programme.During the visit, Chaudhary met members of Lohia’s family, including Ramesh Chandra Lohia, Shobha Rani Lohia, Prithviraj Lohia, Harshvardhan Lohia, Rajyavardhan Lohia, Narayan Lohia, Udaypratap Lohia and Neelu Lohia and enquired about their well-being.Addressing the gathering, Chaudhary said that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the past 12 years have marked a period of national transformation and a stronger global identity for the country.

He added that govt’s policies, guided by the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas, have ensured benefits reach people at the grassroots.He said welfare schemes such as housing for the poor, piped drinking water, free ration, Ujjwala Yojana and Ayushman Bharat have improved the quality of life for millions. He also highlighted that rapid infrastructure growth has boosted economic activity.State general secretary Sanjay Rai, Lucknow mahanagar president Anand Dwivedi, MLA Dr Neeraj Bora and MLC Pawan Singh Chauhan were also present.
