Perplexed at this logic: Jaishankar on Russian oil purchase as reason behind US tariff

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Thursday, while on a visit to Russia, came down heavily on the US decision to impose a steep 50 per cent tariff on Indian imports and lambasted the argument behind the move that it was because New Delhi imported huge amounts of Russian oil, saying India was "perplexed at the logic".
